The first meeting of Quad chiefs to join Joe Biden soon



Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison indicated on Friday that the leaders of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) block will hold their first meeting in the coming days to discuss ways to counter China, the United States, Japan, India and Australia amid Beijing's growing influence will discuss in Indo-Pacific relations.

While no final dates are announced, the meeting is probably going to be held virtually.

Emphasizing on the importance of the ‘Quad’ meeting, the Australian prime minister said, ” The Quad is very central to the United State and our thinking about the region, and looking at the Indo-Pacific also through the prism of our Association of Southeast Asian Nations partners and their vision of the Indo-Pacific. I am looking forward to that first gathering of the Quad leaders.”
